Ricky De Elias has been training in the Bel Canto classical vocal style for the past nine and a half years. During this time he has honed his vocal skills being mentored by the wonderful operatic lyric tenor Joseph Raso (Opera Australia) Who has been responsible for mentoring and finalising Ricky’s mellifluous tonal quality.

This show is set to highlight the tenor vocal instrument which requires 3 main elements: Squillo, (bright ring), Chiaroscuro (light and dark tonal shades) and finally Appoggio (breath support).

Utilising and coordinating this technique will see Ricky perform a selection of classical pieces and tenor arias from the likes of Tosda (Puccinni), Pagliacci (Leoncaallo) and L’elisir D’amore (Donizetti) to name a few PLUS neapolitan and tenor repertoire staples: Granada, O Sole Mio and Ave Maria
